Sita Singh is an Indian American children’s book author of award-winning picture books. Inspired by her own experiences as an immigrant and parent, she began writing after realizing that families like hers were missing from the books her children were reading. A former architect, she now writes stories that celebrate heritage, identity, and belonging. When Sita isn’t writing, she enjoys reading adult fiction, cooking, walking, practicing yoga, and exploring the outdoors. Sita lives in South Florida with her family and a very curious dog.
